2008 Airshows
Red Arrows Farnborough in Hampshire has a biennial commercial airshow that lasts for 7 days concluding with a public display on the final weekend.There is a mixture of modern civilian and military aircraft from around the world.

Farnborough is the oldest active airfield in the UK and is home to the Royal Aerospace Establishment (RAE) which tests and develops different aircraft types.Damaged aircraft are often brought here for accident investigation.

The Farnborough Airshow is held every two years. The last show was in 2006 and the next will be open to the public on the 19-20 July 2008.

Mon 14 –Fri 18 July – open to trade aerospace professionals only
Sat 19 – Sun 20 July – open to public visitors

The Red Arrows open the flying display on Saturday 19 July and
appear towards the end of the display on Sunday 20 July.

Adult advance purchase: £23
Adult on-day purchase: £28
Children (under 16) go free when accompanied by a paying adult

Tickets are not dated. If you purchased a ticket you could either come on Saturday or Sunday.

Enthusiast Day
The idea of Enthusiasts’ Day is to offer genuine aircraft enthusiasts the opportunity to visit the show on a trade day when the show is otherwise not open to the public. Enthusiasts’ Day is Friday 18 July 2008 and will feature an extended flying display. The Enthusiast Day package includes entry, grandstand seating, parking and a souvenir programme. Tickets are limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis to only those who are eligible.

Only Friends of Farnborough members and Key Publishing subscribers are eligible to buy tickets to attend the airshow on Enthusiasts Day and. To become a Friend of Farnborough, please register here

**This date has been negotiated in coordination with the Royal International Air Tattoo who agreed to move their planned show date for 2008 to assist Farnborough International Ltd. We wish to thank RIAT for their consideration.
