Aviation Photography Competition

Would you like to see your photograph on the Homepage for a month?

and it will be judged along with other entries to decide the winner who will have their photograph displayed on the Homepage for one month. There will be a new theme each month and your photograph must be relevant to this. Remember only one picture per person and it must be a photograph that is owned by you.(see Rules below).

Next months theme is 'MiGs'. Lets see your best photos of Mikoyan-Gurevich aircraft.

Please send in your entries by February 22nd and the winning photograph will be on the Homepage on March 1st 2010 for a month.

Photo-Competition Rules
1/ You can enter just one photograph per month.
2/ Please send your photograph in .jpg format.
3/ The photograph must be all your own work, you must have copyright .
4/ Please make the size of your photograph about 784X422 pixels.
5/ I will reduce the size of the winning photo to 392X211 pixels to fit on the Homepage.
6/ Photos will be judged on quality, rarity, relevance to the theme, and fits/looks good on the Homepage.
7/ The Photo-competition will have a new theme each month .
8/ Sorry, NO prizes but you will have your picture on the Homepage for one month.
9/ Please send some info about the picture such as what it is, where it was taken, and camera/lens used.

Tips on sending a winning photo
1/ Your photo must be relevant to the theme.
2/ Make sure your photo will fit on the Homepage and can be reduced to 392 X 211 pixels.
3/ The larger the filesize the better the image quality. Filesizes up to 1MB+ are accepted.
4/ Check that the exposure is correct with no blown highlights or underexposed aircraft.
5/ Make sure runways and buildings are fairly straight.
6/ Flying aircraft are generally preferred over static aircraft as they are harder to capture.
7/ Bribes are accepted.........Just kidding!!!!!!
