Kemble used to be a huge RAF maintenance base but today is a civilian airfield which is home to
an established flying club and other operators including the Delta Jets fleet which is based here and regularly fly their Hunters at Airshows. An amazing array of historic aircraft can also be seen at the Bristol Aero Collection Museum at Kemble.
Kemble has several events during the year including the popular Kemble Air Show (now called the Cotswold Air Show) in June, Fly-ins, and Open Days. Details can be found on the official
Kemble website at www.kemble.com
Following the huge success of the first two day show in 2009 it has been announced that not only will this 2 day format continue into 2010 but, in line with the rebranding of the Airport to The Cotswold Airport, the show will also be renamed to The Cotswold Air Show.
