The Yorkshire Airshow takes place at Elvington, a former RAF base, over two days usually in August. The organisers have announced that they are to run this two-day event bi-annually.
This air display consists of modern RAF & RN aircraft, display teams, aerobatics, and historic aircraft. Elvington airfield is situated seven miles to the south east of the City of York and is a major airshow for the north of England.
