The Blades (2 Excel Aviation) consist of four Extra 300 LP aircraft and are based at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire.
The Blades Aerobatic Display Team are a brand new Team comprising ex-Red Arrows pilots and a world championship level aerobatic instructor.
The Blades, led by Andy Offer OBE (ex-leader of the Red Arrows) will enthral all those who watch their precision formation aerobatic displays. The stunning Extra EA-300LPs are high performance aircraft designed for the most adventurous aerobatic manoeuvres.

HISTORY
2 Excel Aviation was officially formed in March 2005 by Chris Norton OBE DFC and Andy Offer OBE. With distinguished careers in the Royal Air Force they have both left the Service to be full time Directors of the company. The Company offers a suite of aviation related products for both the consumer and corporate sectors that capitalise on the exceptional skills and heritage of the Team. Known as The Blades, The Team is the UK’s only commercially run, full-time professional 4-ship aerobatic Display Team comprising highly respected ex-military and civilian world class pilots.
